What is the evidence? Show us the evidence!

Representative Elise Stefanik, in an interview on “Meet the Press,” regarding the 2020 election stated: “What we saw in 2020 was unconstitutional circumventing of the Constitution, not going through state legislators when it comes to changing election law.”
She was not asked the questions: Why do you claim the election was unconstitutional? What evidence have you seen and what evidence do you reference in your claim?
When she, or anyone and everyone, throws out vague concepts, press the question. Reference the fact that Trump and others filed 62 law suits contesting the election processes and every single one of them were lost. Not some, not most, all of them, were found to be without merit. Many of them by Trump appointed judges.
This is a major problem in not just Meet the Press, but throughout the news media. Those who support Trump and decry the 2020 election are not being asked: “What is the evidence?” This must be more than a request, it must be a demand: “Show us the evidence!”
A possible position of the news media is: “If we ask those difficult questions, then many people will not agree to interview with us.” Is this correct? If so, is it a valid position to take?
